The Alexander Technique is a powerful self-help tool, which people learn for a wide variety of reasons. Many people choose to take lessons in the first instance because they are in pain, but its true worth lies in the ability it gives us to do whatever we do, better, more efficiently and with greater awareness.
The Alexander Technique helps us to function at our best, and it can therefore improve all aspects of our lives. Its benefits are often therapeutic but the Technique should not be regarded as a kind of treatment – it is a way of living, and it is learnt over time.
